A critical review of the Dilbert comic strip. Is it really as "subversive" as people think? Does it really criticize corporate America or does it just use humor to make the corporate drones feel better about being corporate drones?

Dont buy this book if you a looking for more Dilbert humor. This book was not endorsed by Dilbert author Scott Adams nor his publisher. It is a somewhat tedious examination of the premise that Scott Adams actually endorses the corporate entities that he lampoons. Norman Solomons book is designed to expose Dilbert as just another corporate shill. It is an interesting read and will be of value to someone who wishes to fully explore the Dilbert phenomena, but this book was published in 1997 and its principal relevance is to that time period.
