So yeah, the art is nothing super fab. And yeah, if I hadn't watched the anime first, I would be hopelessly lost and confused. But ASIDE from that, this is an awesome book to own. It's addictive, something you can't put down, and it definitely makes me want the other 13. It's a must-have for any Trigun fan's collection: Trigun Maximum ROCKS!

before you read this, it would be wise to get the "preludes" which are titled "Trigun" vol. 1 and 2, these jumpstart the story line and will make alot more sense of this manga, which is really good by the way.
