I really enjoyed The Tribune. It seemed realistically knowledgeable and "gritty", without being overly gory or gruesome. The main characters were human and complex.

A very enjoyable, easy read, with a couple of twists to make you think.
Great retelling of the times and events surrounding the life of Christ.
Historic novel where honor triumphs over ambition, only after overcoming many difficult situations. Like many historic novels the hero encounters many historic figures, in this case Biblical characters. A gripping read.

fast paced and engaging...move over, Simon Scarrow, and make room on the bench for Patrick Larkin.
