Any of the Meg Series is great reading. Alten is good at description of the horror involving the sharks and other species in the sea.

More exciting and dramatic than the first, but not as exciting as it was hinted to be in the third book. Still, I will watch out for him! I love a good shark book!

Great book. You should read "Meg" first, as this is the sequel to it and the preceding book to "Meg: Primal Waters."

This is the second book in Styeve Alten's Meg series, and they just keep getting better, if you are going to read this stsrt from the beging, you will love them all. I cant wait for book 5 and themovie comming out in 2011, this is the second time I have read this book, started all over again whne book 4 came out. I will keep them forever!!!!!!!!!!!1

I was intrigued thru this whole book. Who ever would have thought a female could be so unladylike.. I am not a huge fan of thrillers or mysterys but I loved this . My husband loved this book so much that he nick named our coon dog the don. Once you read this or read with your ears in the case of an audio book you will under stand. I give this book a 10

I couldn't get enough of MEG, his first book in this series. This was a great follow-up, although I do regret it wasn't the unabridged copy as I wanted more! Makes you wonder if Jonas was a cat in his previous life as by the end of this book he's definately used up all his "9 lives!"

WOW--what a ride!! If you haven't read any of the Meg series then you must---well written about the monster megalodon discovered years before and this is about the pup that was kept in captive and escaped---what a ride!!

Very scarey story about gigantic sharks.
I read Megalodon and loved it. This was a pretty good sequel.

If you're a Meg fan, you will devour The Trench. Non-stop action from beginning to end.
This is an awesome read if you like Peter Benchley your going to go for this......Alten is great.
