I like how she has maps with (almost) all of the places she went labelled, actually 3 maps, since (as she said repeatedly), Chile is a strange-shaped country. She intersperses a lot of history on her travelogue, and I enjoyed looking up some of the obscure places on the internet. She kind of had the habit of making her mundane experiences, well, mundane. Maybe because she put more stock than I do at hootin and hollerin at the local bars.
