As far as children's mystery books go this one is great and even I was surprised!! I have read loads of Nancy Drews, Baby Sitters Club mysteries and other AG ones including the ones from the early 2000s. A winner and I did not guess right!!!

This is a great story filled with mystery and intrigue. Caroline goes on a stagecoach to Albany a three day trip normally, but their wheel breaks. The wheelwright is out of town so add another day. Caroline is carrying a ship blueprint and cash money for the manufacturer to make it. While a diversion is created Kit is robbed of all her father's plan and money.Who stole it, can she prove it and get her dad's cash and plan back? This was impossible for me to figure out until the person was revealed at the end. Is anyone whom they seem to be?
