Pete Dexter is an excellent writer. Like Cormac McCarthy, his tales are dark and even, brutal, i.e., "The Paper Boy" and "Blood Meridian".
The point? Was a single character likable or interesting? Nope.
This is An ARC- Paperback I have not read it.
