The latest in the Hell's Eight series. Very similar to the previous books; no better, no worse. Tracker Ochoa finds Desi's sister & brings her to Hell's Eight. Super tough but honorable macho men & women who need help, plus some hot sex scenes make for easy reading. There's a theme running through all the books, & all the characters appear one way or another in all the books, so if you plan to get involved, start at the beginning with "Caine's Reckoning".

I have a love/hate relationship with McCarty. I either love her stuff or hate it so much I can't bear to finish it. This one falls into the love category.

Tracker was definietly "sigh" worthy. Tough guys with soft tender hearts are hard not to fall for. And usually I don't go for the anemsia thing but it worked well here under the guise of PTSD. None of the situations and reactions seemed forced. Even though Ari doesn't come off as tough, she still had a strength and determination that made me admire her.

I have only read the first book other than this one, but I can't wait to get the rest of them.
