quick easy read with interesting storyline; part of a series

2nd book in the Silver Star of Texas trilogy. No mention of Tarrant County ANYWHERE (not that that is important ... but if you live in Fort Worth and are getting this because it mentions Tarrant County - forget it LOL) And guess which big city they keep mentioning rather than Fort Worth? Uh Dallas?!
Dee Anderson, current Sheriff in Tarrant County, might be interested to see that he's been replaced by a female sheriff in this tale. (Sheriffs are typically elected officials in Texas and are elected by county rather than appointed by a city council as in this tale.)
So on to the story - very nice. Believable characters and worthy partners. Really the story was too short, I so wanted to see more - right now ...so I look forward to more in book 3.

Second in the series. Loved the first. This one is good. Waiting for the last, next month!
