The third in the Candy Holliday series set in Cape Willington, Maine. The town is hosting an ice sculpting exhibition. The town's hermit stumbles onto Candy's property stating he has seen a dead body in the woods with a hatchet in the back. The problem....the body cannot be found. Add to the mystery of the disappearing body, a white moose starts appearing at various places around town..I did not enjoy this book as much as the two previous ones, but I cannot say exactly why.....maybe because it is slow starting after the first few pages......

I liked this book, but wasn't crazy about a subplot that was continued from Book 2 into this one and will now continue on into Book 4 it seems.

And it never really did explain how/why that moose was showing up!

Her books just keep getting better and better. I really loved the suspense of this one and the way it leaves you wanting the next one.

A little slow in parts, but overall enjoyed the book and story line.
