I really like this series. It is fun and characters are well-developed. Her plots are very good also.

I think this was one of the best books in the series so far, IMHO......Candy is again embroiled in murder.......when she finds a body buried under a load of pumpkins in the pumpkin patch she and her girlfriend have harvested for some extra cash....and the late Sapphire Vine is entwined in it all........

The mysteries in this series are good but it is the characters that keep me hungry for the next one. I enjoy how they interact and the mystery.

Still liking this series, but this one made Candy look a little careless and stupid and since this was her fourth mystery to solve, she should be more experienced, more wary and more careful. Don't want to spoil it, but she is pretty careless at times. But all in all, still a good read.
I always enjoy the books by this author. There are fun characters, great community, and a mystery that I have no clue about until the end.
