The twister that touches down in Bordelaise, Louisiana, not only destroys the calm of a summer Sunday, it pierces the soul of Katie Earle, whose young son Bobby goes missing...and it wasn't the storm that took him.
Katie's first thought is that her estranged husband, J.R., saw his chance and grabbed Bobby to spite her. But the reality goes beyhond that to truly horrifying, and now her nightmare is only just beginning. The real terror will begin when the tornado's wreckage is cleared away and the kidnapper can escape with his prize.
The agony of uncertainty grows with every passing hour as Katie and J.R. reunite with a single, desperate purpose: to find their son before he slips from their grasp....forever.

It is uncalled for the write about what goes through the mind of a child predator!!! Any author who would write about the fantasies that a child predator is having is sick!!! I could not read this book and will NEVER read anything by this author again!!!
this is a great series
I am on and off with Sharon Sala's books. I remember hating one of her other books and felt she was ripping off her readings by basically writing the same book with the same characters as she had done before. I'm totally on the opposite of the spectrum with this one. I really liked this book and read it nonstop. It kept you in suspense and I cried through most of it. Unlike the first one of the series which is more into romance, this one is more about suspense. It's not as character driven, more plot driven and I really think it's the better of the two books. I do wonder how the third one will turn out and I'm looking forward to reading now.
This story of a married couple facing problems that could easily tear their marriage apart was a refreshing change from the typical romance novel.
Another by Sala
I had to finish to find out the resolution to poor Bobbie's story but parts were difficult to read and just plain gross.
Book #2 in the Storm Front series.....was my least favorite book of the 3 in this series.
Great read,
Excellent book.
