The stories as told by the main executives from this company that survived and the journey toward rebuilding for the families and employees. The author (a college friend of the subject) does a fine job of allowing the head executives to tell their stories from the first minutes of the attacks to the point where the book ends a year or so later. However I do question the objectivity of the book itself as it cast the main players of the firm in a positive light that they may not necessarily deserve. There is almost nothing from the families of the rank and file whose paychecks were cut off a week or so after the attacks. There is nothing negative about the firm and their handling of this situation at all which was questionable. But read it although consider the source and the one-sided portrayals.
