I admit, I was expecting a 'story,' not a grouping of funny, quirky memories. The book is comprised of quick chapters each one discussing a different story of her family/life. Yes, it was funny.. but not what I was expecting.
(The book flap does say "...collection of ....stories and essays" --so I should have been forewarned, I suppose!)
