Another great book from Gwen Bristow, written in 1943.This story begins during World War 1 and follows the life of a war widow to the beginning of World War II. Elizabeth is heart-broken when she learns of her young husband's death and eventually knows that she must start a new life without him.
It's a story of courage of a new kind and it takes you to the depths of despair and up again.
Read it and enjoy.
