This is a great book, if you already know the basics of sock knitting. The toe-up method is easy to learn and nice for those who like long cuffs, but with cuff down methods can never guess how much yarn they will need for the heel and foot. In the front of this book is a very nice tutorial including detailed instructions and pictures. You will feel very confident in this method after knitting the sample socks. Melissa even gives you directions on how to convert a traditional sock pattern to this method.
