This is one of my favorite books that I read while we went through our adoption process. I found it extremely helpful and thorough in its details as what we might experience and even more so as to what our daughter was probably experiencing as she was 2.

A great resource book for anyone thinking of or going through an adoption journey of a toddler.

I picked up this book hoping to breeze through it. No such luck. It is soooo full of good information that I found myself taking my time on each chapter. It really is a MUST READ for adopting...especially if you don't plan to adopt an infant.

WHY is this book listed under "General Crafts & Hobbies?"

This book's subject is ADOPTION!! WHo would consider adopting a child a "craft or hobby?!!"

Specifically a "how to" type of book regarding toddler adoption and issues regarding
compassion/understanding/emotional stress and need between the toddler and the adoptive family.

This book was extremely informative and very well written. I gleaned tons of useful information and it was a pleasurable read. Gives an honest look at the true difficulties and rewards of adopting a toddler. I really recommend this book!
