Benford again invites us into a fantastic world that is actually our own as quantum effects are put to the test by simple men trying to deal with their own rocky academic careers and to save the world. Whoever said academia was boring!

Very good story and facts. This is "Hard" Science Fiction at it's best exploring the past, present, and future of it's characters with complete credibility.

Much of the "science" in this novel is already outdated - and it has not withstood the test of time well at all.

I'm finding it rather hard to get through this book, it's very slow moving, and...well, boring. It seems like it was a great short story that someone told the author to turn into a novel. Great premise, great background idea...but it seems to get lost in a lot of drivel that doesn't advance the story line. Sorry, but this isn't one I'd recommend.

This is the vintage version: Very nice time travel sorta updated/modern set in 1968 and 1998

Not your typical Parker read. Spenser is nowhere to be seen. But an interesting book and no disappointment for a Parker fan.

Interesting tale that combines time travel with ecological disaster. The science seems convincing
