Sylvia Miller a young Amish girl in rumspinga is engaged to marry Titus, But her dad who became Amish as adult did not confess his first marriage ended in Divorce when he was baptized Amish.He is banned for 6 weeks as a punishment by the bishop.Then his unknown adult daughter from this Marriage shows up as a shock which runs through the Amish community. For a while the mIller family is not treated well but with God there are always surprising answers.
