I saw the movie first, several years ago and was surprised at how different the book was - much better.

I've never been a medeival novel fan before reading this book! It was VERY exciting and a very entertaining evening or two. It won't last longer than that for sure! Michael Crichton definitely has a way with words and isn't afraid to add some laughs to his seriousity!
