I was pretty let down by this book. The font size is uncomfortably small to read, supposedly to allow for more story within the page count. The font could have been much larger, and the page count cut in half. The surprises toward the end are cliche and surprisingly ill conceived - and the pseudoscientific crutches are horrible. All specific examples I can think of are spoilers.. and I'm trying to be careful with what I say.
My advice is to skip it and read more highly rated books from the EDA range. I found myself thinking that if this were the only exposure an individual had to the DW novels, they wouldn't be coming back for more.
