Megan W. reviewed Time Off! The Unemployed Guide to San Francisco (Time Off! the Unemployed Guide to...) on + 7 more book reviews
This book is full of great information about San Francisco and lets you in on things (mostly free and low cost) that you might not know about. Most notably I learned about a free tour guide service and a brewery tour, all things in my backyard that I had no idea even exsisted. Despite the book being a few years old most of the information is timeless, of course things might have gotten a tad more expensive, but for the most part the free stuff is still free.
This book also offers extensive ideas and tips for the unemployed, one thing they stress is taking this down time and using it to explore and enrich your life, instead of job hunting 8 hours a day. Cute cover art and sprinkled with fun facts about San Francisco this book is perfect for the unemployed, the couple in grad school (that was us!), or the gainfully employed.
