She knew two men one was a murder and one was a lover.
Victoria Holt is great for suspense & romance. Cordelia sees a handsome stranger in the forest at the time of the hunter's moon...the time legend says a girl will see her future husband.
I read this in High School, but enjoyed the romance stories back then.
