Some really useful ideas, and some ideas that are downright crazy. It does, however, make you second guess your consumerism and particularly wasteful environmental practices, which is always a good thing as far as I'm concerned. This is also a great book to read in short chunks (bathroom reader, anyone?).

I love this book! I have read & reread it, you can use it like an encyclopedia or read cover to cover. No matter how you read it, it can save you money. Some ideas seem radical but some are super easy to start right away. If nothing else the book pays for itself...

Very inspiring. Some of the ideas are dated, but I came away with not only some useful specifics, but a great general idea of how to live more frugally.
