when her friend falls in love with a man whose last two wifes where murdered Claire desides to prove he isn,t a murderer
Claire's teenaged daughter, Who Talks in Capitals, and her mousy friend Inez are working at a lakeside bird sanctuary to earn money for driver education classes. Claire is busy as well; she's trying to help her best friend figure out if her new love--who just happens to have a cottage at said lake-- is really a serial wife killer. The plot rocks along and, in a nice touch of poetic justice, ends with a bang.
Funny mystery.It is what I call light fare.
Claire Malloy gets into the world of big money and Bird Watching when her friend begs her to prove the innocense of her fiance who has had two wives die under mysterious circumstances. Pretty good read.
I'm one of those people who is guilty of reading the last couple of pages right away. Didn't work for me this time. I was totally caught off guard by the way this one ended!
Love ALL of Hess's books! And both series are highly enjoyable! Can't wait for the next one to get published!!

I enjoy this series muchly, the characters are so very human, normal and they fall into such pitful situations! Great Read!
