My daughter read this book for a college class and loved it. It takes place in London 1940. Paulette marries but her husband Garret has mysterious behavior. He lies about where he goes. He doesn't return from a business trip to Berlin. She receives a chilling note and has to find him.

Another well written Linda Chaikin book about a woman searching for her husband starting in London in 1940, but Thursday's Child has "far to go" in her journey to find him-and in her personal journey.
