A great story. Juan Williams is a wonderful storyteller. If you have ever listened to his commentary on NPR you will know he is thorough and engaging. He does not disappoint with this story of Thurgood Marshall. You will enjoy this book!

This is a fantastic biography for anyone interested in civil rights, Thurgood Marshall or the Supreme Court. It will change the way you think about this amazing man, and this period of time.
Outstanding, Marshall was a great American and Juan Williams is a fabulous writer. The combination along with the importance and currency of the events makes this a worthwhile read for anybody interested in 20th Century American political history.
