Carol Thompson conveys well the distances of the farm. There is a fair amount of text and the story is well told. It did not circulate much here; country life is not known to most city kids anymore.
After checking a couple of the wish lists of people I know, I will put this ex-library, with usual markings, otherwise AF copy back on the 25 cents sale shelf as there is only one wish and my PBS comrades have left me holding the bag too many times by ignoring the wish fulfilled notice.
