I enjoyed this one even more than the first in the series! All the red herrings keep you guessing until the very end. I must have changed my mind about who did it 4 or 5 times! I liked the new love interest and the discussion of online and speed dating. As with the first one though, there was a bit too much about coffee. Every character seemed to have their own personal favorite bean and talk about it! Still, I did like this one so much that I started Latte Trouble, the 3rd in the series immediately after finishing this one!

I wish I had read the first one first -- but this is such a delightful series, and I'm so glad I discovered it. It does have an unexpected twist in it that made me sad. My only quibble is that people just do NOT talk about coffee quite THIS much in everyday conversation. Maybe in her coffeehouse, yes. But a suspect (who happened to have killed his wife and her lover when he was younger; not a spoiler) rave about the quality of certain beans for no good reason (the conversation was in his artist's studio) was just annoying (and, I admit, made me laugh when I don't think I was supposed to). Loved the recipes, though!

2nd in a series of very well written mysteries.
Ms. Coyle writes books that don't treat us like we are on a 6th grade level. She throws in some very interesting details on the history of the different items she uses as backdrops in her stories yet she keeps it light enough to still be the"cozy" books that so many of us love so well.
This one has enough twists, turns, and red herrings to keep the book interesting right up untill the end...which by the way is totally unexpected.
I have the next two in the series and I will be posting them soon.
