Really enjoyed this book. I'm fairly new to this genre. (Is this what they call urban fantasy?)
I admit I often stumbled over character names, but there was a pronunciation guide in the front of the book. That helped immensely. Also there weren't too many characters to keep the names sorted out.
I found the book well written and it kept me interested. There was a big build-up with a maybe not-so-big ending, but I was satisfied with it. I believe this is the first of a series so, of course, it left a bit for later books.
I'd recommend this book to anyone who likes a bit of fairy tale with everyday life.
