Helpful Score: 1
All are stand alone stories and very entertaining.
Not scary but all are well written. Sorry, but
I am going to hold onto the book to read a few
again.

All in all not bad if you like short short stories - most are 20 pages or less. Some I liked but most I didn't. I particularly liked the last story by Ridley Pearson, Boldt's Broken Angel. A 50 page serial killer story featuring detective Lou Boldt. It could have been spectacular as a full length novel but was OK as is.
Most of the short stories are intense and keeps the reader's attention. After reading some, I wished I had a complete novel by that author...so these short stories may introduce the reader to new authors.

This was a disappointment in that it was a collection of short stories from various authors edited by Clive Cussler. The stories were OK but not what I had expected. I should l have read the synopsis before ordering the book.
