I loved this book! Candace Hern is one of my favorite authors because of her ability to create romantic and sexy heroes, and Adam is definitely that. This is the first book in the Merry Widows trilogy.

A very good book, my first by this author. A touching story that does not ignore the feelings that a young widow might have for the husband she lost. Hern makes the growing love between Marianne and Adam a very special thing. I am anxiously awaiting the next book in the series!

I loved this first book in Hern's "Merry Widows" Series! I particularly liked the h/h Adam & Marianne ... and the methods Adam used to discourage the gentlemen on Marianne's 'list of potential lovers' had me laughing out loud! Enjoy!

This is the first full-length novel I've read by Candice Hern, and it was very satisfying. Well written, good multi-dimentional characters with a realistic story. I loved the whole idea of the "Merry Widows" who, although they had good marriages, are enjoying the independence they can have for the first time in their life as widows, and they want to experience the thrill of having a lover.
Great story, and I'm looking forward to the next two books in the series!

Great story and good characters. The suthor leaves the debutatne story line and concentrates on a group of wordly widows. Fun read, can't wait to read more in the series.

Meet the Merry Widows... a secret society of respectable ladies ..with some scandalous ideas!
This is the 1st book in the "Merry Widows"series and off to a great start! One thing this group of friends and 'widows' do not need is money. What they do need is a little spice in their life... or lover.
