A classic, but it beggars description. Disturbingly odd southern characters seek... what? Redemption? Impossible to tell.

Flannery O'Connor is considered a genius by many in the world of the literary arts. Her stories are not easy to understand but are nonetheless very rewarding. This book contains 3 of her greatest stories. They are described as "strong, fiercely comic, powerful fiction.....No other writer has captured the Southern rhythm, the throb of humor, hysteria and passion as well as she has." O'Connor was also one of the few writers to write about evil and its consequences.
