I had such high hopes for this book, but was so disappointed. Part of the problem had to do with the author's writing style. I just found too many commas in really long sentences. It interrupted the pacing of the the story for me. The other problem was that I didn't like any of the characters and had a hard time accepting the book description's of the story being about six fiercely independent women. Sorry, the author didn't convince me in the least that this lot of whiners were just that.
