good and easy read. Story of Henry VIII oldest sister, Queen of Scotland
Helpful Score: 2
I rather enjoyed this book. It was interesting to learn about Henry VIII's sister whom I knew little about. Margret is a strong and determined woman who makes some bad choices base on emotion. The book it self is well writen and easy to get into. I would recomend it to anyone who likes Tudor history.

Well-told tale of Margaret Tudor, sister of Henry VIII, sent to Scotland at age 12 to marry King James, a handsome devil she soons falls for. James turns out to be handsome, intelligent and charismatic, but not a faithful husband.
Enjoyable story of Margaret Tudor, older sister to Henry VII and wife of James IV of Scotland. I knew little about this woman and Plaidy crafted another engaging story that has me eager to learn more about Margaret.

this is an absolutely fabulous book. Jean Plaidy is the star of historical fiction. There is lots of action and adventure in this book.

Historical drama of Queen Margaret of Scotland, sister of Henry VIII and wife of King James IV. Margaret's life would be one of turmoil and controversy, but thru her descendants, England & Scotland would unite and find peace.

i loved reading this book
Many of Jean Plaidy's other books are better. The facts were good, but the story was week. Almost like reading a long encycolpedia article.

I have read most of these books by Plaidy and this was my least favorite. It is not a very good story. Marriage, difficult pregnancy, husband cheating, then repeat all of this a few more times. Not a horrible book just not a favorite of mine.
