I ordered this title to listen to in the car-had to take it out and walk around the house with it in my portable CD carrier. It is that riveting, and educational, with its vivid descriptions of Mt. Everest, the rigors of grueling mountain climbing and its compelling protrayals of characters. Sadly, it is also a heartbreaking exploration into the whys people take risks and the dangers of the commercialization of individual achievement.
