Excellent book covering the presidential years of Theodore Roosevelt who was a complicated man of values. It is an entertaining book for those who enjoy history.
Excellent. I give it an A.
My husband, a high-school history teacher, found this book to be thorough and informative. However, he says it is about 100 pages longer than necessary, has excessive use of french terms that the author never bothers to explain, and is too verbose when it could be just as effectively concise. He is glad that he slogged through it, for the most part.
