Apparently this author's political views differ from my own (I knew nothing about her before buying this book), but I can't resist any book with the term "Muffin Top" in the title. Although she does let loose a few zingers about Obama, Carter, etc., this book is mostly a hilarious series of rants about rude people and tacky behaviors that anyone can relate to: kids who kick the back of airplane seats, people who surf the web on their iPhones at the movies, and so on. Many of the brief pieces were laugh out loud funny.

under the guise of wit and humor, this book is mean spirited and judgmental.
Granted the author and I are 180 degrees apart politically.
I found the fact that the title is a riff off President Obama's title for his book about his daughters to be in very bad taste.

Laura Ingraham's pet peeves are told in an entertaining manner. Many of them are the same as mine. No, most of them. She writes about the decline of our culture as boorishness ascends. A good read.
