Maybe these books are starting to grow on me; I thought this one was cute! Maybe I liked the idea of a potter and a pediatrician loving each other.

This had a bit more plot than most of Evanovichs works. Of course, an animal was involved a rabbit. Actually, this rabbit was a skirt-eating variety (trust me, this is the worst kind)! ;-) Tibbles doesnt seem to have much trouble escaping from Dr. Patrick Hunter.

When Megan Murphy arrives at Hunters home with the rabbit, they are interrupted by one of Hunters patients who promptly leaves her young son with Dr. and Mrs. Hunter just for a couple of weeks. Rather than turn the child in to social welfare agencies, Patrick and Megan decide to share taking care of Tim.

Man-hater Megan takes a second look at the good doctor; Pat has already decided he likes what he sees. Before long, they agree to make Thanksgiving dinner for his parents, who will visit even though cooking isnt in Megans repertoire of skills.

In this book, Evanovich cites logical reasons for Pat delaying marriage (even though he wants to marry Megan). He is saddled with crushing debt from medical school and he has to attract enough patients to develop a practice. This will require extra hours of work each day/night.

Megan has had 3 broken engagements and is leery of the entire male species. When her 3rd fiancée returns (with the engagement ring in tow), Megan starts thinking about her life and choices.

I guess I liked that real decisions had to be made, instead of constant goofiness. Its definitely a light book with loads of fluff.
