TEXAS BOSSA NOVA continues the story of the Montgomery family of ranchers from Texas, cowboys all. Its book five in the series and with as large a family as the Montgomerys have, there will be more, I hope.

The tale centers on Magda, a former foster child from the wrong side of the tracks who returns to her recently discovered fathers home to care for him after a heart attack. To make ends meet, Magda takes a job as a housekeeper for the Montgomery brothers, one of which is Reno, the man who lights all her fires and drives her mad with want. The result is a tale of regret, redemption and romance.

The characters are well-developed and very likable. The conflict is mostly internal, a study in class consciousness and self-worth, very pertinent in todays society. Secondary characters are fun and add much. We get glimpses of the couples in past books in the series as well as a future hero or two. The Texas skyline shines as it always does.

Its a fun book, a great read for the beach or relaxing by the pool. It's hot, sexy and always ready!
