As always, the jokes keep coming with Andy Carpenter at the helm. This is an interesting story about a visiting professor who is killed at his home. The young man indicted is BJ, who got a dog from the Tara Foundation about two years ago. Unfortunately, BJ had an argument in class about the grade for a test. Everyone in class witnessed the problem, so BJ was the likely culprit when the professor turned up dead. When the professor's Rolex watch and several hundred dollars were found in BJ's apartment, BJ's goose was cooked.
This one wasn't as good as the others because of what happened. Andy's wife gets BJ a new apartment filled with furniture. Andy had already solved the problem, but to add these gifts was over the top (and made the story seem rinky-dink).
