As a follow up, it was not a bad book. Not as much depth of the characters as in the first book, but still worth the read.

The premise of the book is great, and I was enjoying it until... I realized all the men had multiple high powered superpowers (such as super strength AND lightning) and the women have powers such as "I sing and it makes men fall in love with me". The only powerful woman is evil. Whether it was the author's intention to write it this way or not, the misogynist themes made it an instant dislike for me.
