Interesting read. Lots of history of isreal and their language and some ontheir customs.

One of those books to which you will have a visceral reaction. Similar in mood to Ann Patchett's The Patron Saint of Liars (but totally different plot-wise; don't let me confuse you). A beautiful, wrenching story.

One of the best books I've read in a long time. The author really educates the reader about the etimology of many Hebrew words. THe plot was excellent, a love story with many twists and turns pertaining to the Israeli army and which kept the reader guessing all the way throughout.
