My kids loved this book. The stories are mostly short, involve animals, and include illustrations, so they're appropriate for small kids. And because the fairy tales are all from faraway places like Russia and China (and therefore not familiar), they are interesting to older elementary-aged kids too. Highly recommended to anyone whose kids like fairy tales or fables.
