A decent enough read, but not a keeper. It starts off with a lot of promise and steadily loses momentum - even becoming a bit cringeworthy - about halfway through. Simon is a dashing hero, if a bit dense at times, and Christine, a smart, sweet-natured heroine, inexplicably develops an extreme case of TSTL in the last few chapters. Toss in a cardboard cutout villain, and overall, this book is a bit of a disappointment.

The head of her Majesty's Morality & Vice Commission falls for a nearly prostitute. Don't that make for a great plotline?

I got this off the quarter shelf at the library. It wasn't my favorite [otherwise I wouldn't be listing it] but it wasn't bad either.
