Sherry Thomas writes very well, but I haven't really been on the bandwagon until now; somehow her stories didn't grab me. However, this is my favorite of the ones I've read. She gives an original twist to the old amnesia story. I like the way she takes risks with her plots and characters. The hero and heroine are definitely imperfect; he can be deliberately obnoxious, and she really has blinders on about what she wants and needs. But because we know the reasons behind the way they act, we forgive them and sympathize with them. A very entertaining book.

This book had two things I hate in a romance novel. The heroine has amnesia, and the main couple bicker. Despite that, I liked this the best out of the trilogy. It is the only one I am debating keeping. There are several scenes I liked and in the end I was won over.
