Reading this book was like watching a Hollywood golden age movie without the scene ending on the roaring fire/crashing waves. Sweet, predictable, exciting and sexy - the hero/soldier and heroine/nurse first make contact by letters that get increasingly suggestive to downright instructive. The soldier returns to London injured and smitten by his idea of the nurse who had been writing him, complications ensue.
This little slice of erotica really has heart and I highly recommend it. 4.5 Stars!
