Garrett needs a wife stat. His grandmother has plans to marry him off to someone he has never met. Natalie could use a spouse. She is in process of trying to adopt her niece after her sister and brother in law were killed in a car accident.
What follows is a marriage of convenience. There is a mutual admiration and attraction there too and it does gradually develop into something more. A "misunderstanding" does happen (and a lot of time is not devoted to it) and is quickly wrapped up. Good, but not great.
