From Hopper to Zwerger. The format is to introduce the picture with a drawing announcing the artist's name, the picture on two facing pages, then simple drawings of people discussing the picture, such as what is going on as portrayed, then the drawing announcing the next picture. If the reader(s) interact with the picture, the 'discussion' of a sentence or two helps them along.
This is suitable for all elementary grade students in my opinion.
While it was kept on the shelf at this branch library for thirteen years before being sent to the discard sale shelf, this copy shows little evidence of having circulated. Too bad....
