I like anthologies because you can read a story quickly but you do give up some character development. In this book Amy Fetzer suceeds in fleshing out the story on a few brief pages beyond the romance. Three stories involving marines rescuing people in trouble. All the stories with a different scenario, the marines are tough, the heroines strong in their own way, steamy romance and a few laughs and self discovery on the way. May have to keep this one...When you read the inside back cover you find out she is the daughter, wife, and mother of lifetime marines -- it shows. Ooh-rah!

This was my first Amy J. Fetzer book, but it will not be my last! This was an excellent anthology!

Three short stories, all dramatic rescues by some pretty attractive Marines. I think the second was my favorite, but all were great.

This is a wonderful book of three tales of Marines rescuing those that turn out to be their loves. The first one is the story of best-friends that have been ignoring the sexual pull between them for years, well no more. He conquors in typical Marine fashion. The second one is a fun little romp on a deserted island, where a Marine learns he has one dream left that he thought long dead. And the little eggheaded doc he is stranded with was the fillment of that dream. The last one is a woman that was running from the sufficating love of her 2-star general father and the Marine that is sent in with his team to extract her from a fire bomb area. The enjoy 5 days in the Jungle together, then they go home.....and he finds out about Daddy. And fights for her. Wonderful story, my favorite.
